# Stopwatch° vs Stopwatch

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Stopwatch° at none against Stopwatch's 1. Stopwatch° also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 24 months). Stopwatch's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stopwatch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Stopwatch° asks for nothing beyond the download.

Stopwatch° ships an update every 2 weeks, Stopwatch every 24 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
