# Slice & Dice vs Digs Premium

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Slice & Dice at 89% against Digs Premium's 33%. Slice & Dice also leads on price (Free vs $4.99) and ratings volume (888 vs 1). Digs Premium's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Slice & Dice is free to download; Digs Premium costs $4.99 up front. Slice & Dice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Digs Premium asks for nothing beyond the download.

Digs Premium holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slice & Dice has 888 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Slice & Dice's written reviews are positive against 33% of Digs Premium's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Slice & Dice ships an update every 3 months, Digs Premium every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
