# AmTrack vs Train Tracker Pro

The clearest difference is rating: AmTrack at 4.6 against Train Tracker Pro's 4.2. AmTrack also leads on ratings volume (362 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AmTrack sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Train Tracker Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AmTrack holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AmTrack has 362 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AmTrack ships an update every 2 weeks, Train Tracker Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
