# Writing AI vs AI Assistant Pro

The clearest difference is price: AI Assistant Pro at Free against Writing AI's $1.99. AI Assistant Pro also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Writing AI's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On rating, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

AI Assistant Pro is free to download; Writing AI costs $1.99 up front. Writing AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and AI Assistant Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
