# TalkMe vs E

The clearest difference is ads: E at none against TalkMe's shown. TalkMe's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TalkMe sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and E sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TalkMe ships an update fortnightly, E every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
