# Firstleaf vs CellarMate

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CellarMate at 100% against Firstleaf's 44%. CellarMate also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Firstleaf's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (691 vs 6). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CellarMate holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Firstleaf has 691 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Firstleaf's written reviews are positive against 100% of CellarMate's.

Firstleaf ships an update fortnightly, CellarMate weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
