# TOEFL Exam Prep vs EPT

The clearest difference is ads: EPT at none against TOEFL Exam Prep's shown. TOEFL Exam Prep's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TOEFL Exam Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and EPT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
