# PolyChat vs Learn Vietnamese

The clearest difference is ads: Learn Vietnamese at none against PolyChat's shown. Learn Vietnamese also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and device support (4 vs 2). PolyChat's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (96% vs 79%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PolyChat sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Learn Vietnamese sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PolyChat holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PolyChat has 229 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 96% of PolyChat's written reviews are positive against 79% of Learn Vietnamese's.

PolyChat ships an update every 2 weeks, Learn Vietnamese every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
