# PolyChat vs Vocaro

The clearest difference is rating: PolyChat at 4.9 against Vocaro's 4.1. PolyChat also leads on review sentiment (96% vs 56%) and ratings volume (219 vs 18). Vocaro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PolyChat sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Vocaro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PolyChat holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PolyChat has 219 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 96% of PolyChat's written reviews are positive against 56% of Vocaro's.

PolyChat ships an update every 2 weeks, Vocaro every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
