# Veloxiity vs Hardcover

The clearest difference is ads: Veloxiity at none against Hardcover's shown. Hardcover's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Veloxiity sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Hardcover sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Veloxiity against 5.0 for Hardcover. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 8 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Veloxiity ships an update weekly, Hardcover every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
