# Dynamic Runner vs MaxMile

The clearest difference is monetization model: MaxMile at free with in-app purchases against Dynamic Runner's subscription. MaxMile also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). Dynamic Runner's advantage is ratings volume (365 vs 3) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dynamic Runner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and MaxMile sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dynamic Runner holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dynamic Runner has 365 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of Dynamic Runner's written reviews are positive against 100% of MaxMile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dynamic Runner ships an update every 3 months, MaxMile every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
