# My Files vs File Manager

The clearest difference is rating: My Files at 4.3 against File Manager's 1.0. My Files also leads on ratings volume (175 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). File Manager's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Files sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and File Manager sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Files holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Files has 175 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
