# Prilog vs Diary

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prilog at every 5 days against Diary's fortnightly. Prilog also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prilog sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.59 per month and Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prilog ships an update every 5 days, Diary fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
