# AlfredCircle vs Security Camera

The clearest difference is rating: AlfredCircle at 4.8 against Security Camera's 4.5. AlfredCircle also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Security Camera's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 57%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlfredCircle sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Security Camera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AlfredCircle holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 204 and 162 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of AlfredCircle's written reviews are positive against 74% of Security Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AlfredCircle ships an update every 2 weeks, Security Camera every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
