# App locket vs ScrollStop

The clearest difference is rating: ScrollStop at 4.9 against App locket's 3.0. ScrollStop also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (58 vs 2). App locket's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. App locket sells 25 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and ScrollStop sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScrollStop holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScrollStop has 58 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

App locket ships an update fortnightly, ScrollStop monthly. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
