# Nova Standby vs QRPDF

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nova Standby at monthly against QRPDF's every 3 months. QRPDF's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nova Standby sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and QRPDF sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nova Standby ships an update monthly, QRPDF every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
