# Nova Standby vs MIMI Private Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: MIMI Private Timer at every 6 days against Nova Standby's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nova Standby sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MIMI Private Timer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nova Standby ships an update monthly, MIMI Private Timer every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
