# 3D Scanner vs AI Magic Eraser

The clearest difference is rating: AI Magic Eraser at 4.7 against 3D Scanner's 4.4. AI Magic Eraser also leads on ratings volume (546 vs 55) and iOS requirement (15 vs 26.0). 3D Scanner's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 3D Scanner sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and AI Magic Eraser sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Magic Eraser holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Magic Eraser has 546 ratings behind it against 55, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of 3D Scanner's written reviews are positive against 64% of AI Magic Eraser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

3D Scanner ships an update every 5 weeks, AI Magic Eraser every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
