# Wellnote vs Scribble

The clearest difference is ads: Wellnote at none against Scribble's shown. Wellnote also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Scribble's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 77%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wellnote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Scribble sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wellnote ships an update fortnightly, Scribble every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
