# Wellnote vs Colonia

The clearest difference is ads: Wellnote at none against Colonia's shown. Colonia's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wellnote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Colonia sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wellnote ships an update fortnightly, Colonia weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
