# EasyNotes vs Snap Widget

The clearest difference is ads: Snap Widget at none against EasyNotes's shown. Snap Widget also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 52%). EasyNotes's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (4K vs 20). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EasyNotes sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Snap Widget sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for EasyNotes against 4.5 for Snap Widget. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EasyNotes has 4K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 52% of EasyNotes's written reviews are positive against 80% of Snap Widget's.

EasyNotes ships an update every 9 days, Snap Widget every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
