# SnackShort vs Vigloo

The clearest difference is chart position: Vigloo at #83 against SnackShort's unranked. Vigloo also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). SnackShort's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 2.1K) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 16.1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnackShort sells 25 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Vigloo sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for SnackShort against 4.7 for Vigloo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SnackShort has 16K ratings behind it against 2.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of SnackShort's written reviews are positive against 89% of Vigloo's.

SnackShort ships an update fortnightly, Vigloo weekly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
