# SURRON vs 79Cloud

The clearest difference is rating: 79Cloud at 2.2 against SURRON's 1.8. 79Cloud also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). SURRON's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

79Cloud holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of SURRON's written reviews are positive against 0% of 79Cloud's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SURRON ships an update every 2 months, 79Cloud fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
