# AA Grapevine vs The Peak Daily

The clearest difference is monetization model: AA Grapevine at free with in-app purchases against The Peak Daily's subscription. AA Grapevine also leads on ratings volume (87 vs 6) and chart position (#57 vs unranked). The Peak Daily's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 weeks) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AA Grapevine sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and The Peak Daily sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Peak Daily holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AA Grapevine has 87 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AA Grapevine ships an update every 4 weeks, The Peak Daily every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
