# Activities vs Ocean

The clearest difference is ads: Ocean at none against Activities's shown. Ocean also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 37 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Activities against 4.9 for Ocean. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ocean has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Activities ships an update every 37 months, Ocean every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
