# Skaters vs SKAMPY

The clearest difference is rating: SKAMPY at 5.0 against Skaters's 4.3. SKAMPY also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). Skaters's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 60%) and ratings volume (8 vs 2). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skaters sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. SKAMPY asks for nothing beyond the download.

SKAMPY holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Skaters's written reviews are positive against 60% of SKAMPY's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
