# Ramble vs Step Daily Walk

The clearest difference is ads: Step Daily Walk at none against Ramble's shown. Ramble's advantage is ratings volume (181 vs 6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ramble sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Step Daily Walk sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Ramble against 4.8 for Step Daily Walk. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ramble has 181 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Ramble ships an update every 10 days, Step Daily Walk every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
