# ZIP vs Package

The clearest difference is rating: Package at 5.0 against ZIP's 4.5. Package also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). ZIP's advantage is ratings volume (256 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZIP sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Package asks for nothing beyond the download.

Package holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZIP has 256 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ZIP ships an update weekly, Package every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
