# Shrink Manager vs Unhook

The clearest difference is rating: Shrink Manager at 5.0 against Unhook's 4.3. Shrink Manager also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Unhook's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (128 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shrink Manager holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unhook has 128 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Shrink Manager ships an update every 3 months, Unhook every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
