# vakiav vs Parallax

The clearest difference is rating: Parallax at 5.0 against vakiav's 1.6. Parallax also leads on update cadence (daily vs monthly). vakiav's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. vakiav sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Parallax sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Parallax holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: vakiav has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

vakiav ships an update monthly, Parallax daily. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
