# Dots vs Task Roulette

The clearest difference is rating: Dots at 5.0 against Task Roulette's 4.5. Task Roulette's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 79%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dots sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Task Roulette sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dots holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Dots's written reviews are positive against 100% of Task Roulette's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
