# Only SCP vs SCP_X

The clearest difference is rating: SCP_X at 5.0 against Only SCP's 4.0. SCP_X also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). Only SCP's advantage is ratings volume (79 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Only SCP sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and SCP_X sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SCP_X holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Only SCP has 79 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Only SCP ships an update every 3 weeks, SCP_X every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
