# Only SCP vs Hangarworks

The clearest difference is rating: Hangarworks at 5.0 against Only SCP's 4.0. Only SCP's advantage is ratings volume (79 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Only SCP sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Hangarworks sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hangarworks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Only SCP has 79 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Only SCP ships an update every 3 weeks, Hangarworks every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
