# OpenNote vs E

The clearest difference is ads: E at none against OpenNote's shown. E also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OpenNote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and E sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
