# Nordic Flow vs Trouble Tree

The clearest difference is rating: Trouble Tree at 5.0 against Nordic Flow's 4.1. Trouble Tree also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 74%). Nordic Flow's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (46 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nordic Flow sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Trouble Tree sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trouble Tree holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nordic Flow has 46 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Nordic Flow's written reviews are positive against 100% of Trouble Tree's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
