# Nordic Flow vs Transcend

The clearest difference is rating: Transcend at 5.0 against Nordic Flow's 4.2. Transcend also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 74%). Nordic Flow's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (45 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nordic Flow sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Transcend sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Transcend holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nordic Flow has 45 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Nordic Flow's written reviews are positive against 100% of Transcend's.

Nordic Flow ships an update fortnightly, Transcend every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
