# 来音制谱 vs 8pu

The clearest difference is monetization model: 8pu at free against 来音制谱's free with in-app purchases. 来音制谱's advantage is ratings volume (190 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 来音制谱 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and 8pu sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for 来音制谱 against 5.0 for 8pu. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 来音制谱 has 190 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of 来音制谱's written reviews are positive against 89% of 8pu's.

来音制谱 ships an update weekly, 8pu every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
