# Sentry Pro vs TES

The clearest difference is rating: Sentry Pro at 4.5 against TES's 3.6. Sentry Pro also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 5). TES's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sentry Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and TES sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sentry Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sentry Pro has 1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Sentry Pro's written reviews are positive against 50% of TES's.

Sentry Pro ships an update every 2 weeks, TES every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
