# Sentry Pro vs Rootkin

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rootkin at 100% against Sentry Pro's 54%. Rootkin also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Sentry Pro's advantage is ratings volume (994 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sentry Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Rootkin sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rootkin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5.
