# Met Opera vs Five Iron Golf

The clearest difference is rating: Met Opera at 4.9 against Five Iron Golf's 4.5. Met Opera also leads on ratings volume (4.1K vs 67). Five Iron Golf's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (82% vs 57%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Met Opera holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Met Opera has 4.1K ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Met Opera's written reviews are positive against 82% of Five Iron Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Met Opera ships an update fortnightly, Five Iron Golf every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
