# Met Opera vs BookCon

The clearest difference is rating: Met Opera at 4.9 against BookCon's 2.7. Met Opera also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (57% vs 30%). BookCon's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Met Opera holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Met Opera has 4.1K ratings behind it against 101, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of Met Opera's written reviews are positive against 30% of BookCon's.
