# Poki vs Flashcards Maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flashcards Maker at 100% against Poki's 54%. Flashcards Maker also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days). Poki's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (99 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Poki sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Flashcards Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Poki holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Poki has 99 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Poki's written reviews are positive against 100% of Flashcards Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Poki ships an update every 6 days, Flashcards Maker every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
