# Homework AI vs mathcelebrity

The clearest difference is rating: Homework AI at 4.8 against mathcelebrity's 4.0. Homework AI also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (4.9K vs 2). mathcelebrity's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 63%) and ads (none vs shown). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework AI sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and mathcelebrity sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Homework AI holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homework AI has 4.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Homework AI's written reviews are positive against 100% of mathcelebrity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Homework AI ships an update every 3 weeks, mathcelebrity every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
