# Homework AI vs SolveCam

The clearest difference is ads: SolveCam at none against Homework AI's shown. SolveCam also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Homework AI's advantage is ratings volume (4.9K vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework AI sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and SolveCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SolveCam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homework AI has 4.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Homework AI ships an update every 3 weeks, SolveCam every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
