# Homework AI vs Scio

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Homework AI at 4.9K against Scio's 1. Homework AI also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Scio's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework AI sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Scio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scio holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homework AI has 4.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Homework AI ships an update every 3 weeks, Scio weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
