# Theory Test vs Bilprøve

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bilprøve at every 2 days against Theory Test's every 6 weeks. Bilprøve also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Theory Test sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Bilprøve sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Theory Test ships an update every 6 weeks, Bilprøve every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
