# AI Keyboard vs Focus Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: AI Keyboard at every 9 days against Focus Timer's every 3 months. AI Keyboard also leads on ratings volume (45 vs 9) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Focus Timer's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Keyboard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Focus Timer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Keyboard has 45 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AI Keyboard ships an update every 9 days, Focus Timer every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
