# SpeedTune E vs Flex

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flex at every 2 months against SpeedTune E's every 10 months. SpeedTune E's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SpeedTune E ships an update every 10 months, Flex every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
