# PreCodeCamp vs Explorer Hop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Explorer Hop at every 3 weeks against PreCodeCamp's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PreCodeCamp sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $99.00 per month and Explorer Hop sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PreCodeCamp ships an update every 2 months, Explorer Hop every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
