# Conflux vs Video Compressor

The clearest difference is update cadence: Video Compressor at every 11 days against Conflux's monthly. Conflux's advantage is device support (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Conflux sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Video Compressor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Conflux ships an update monthly, Video Compressor every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
